Fitness Class Schedules and Descriptions (pdf)
Adult Fitness
Muscular Strength & Range of Motion
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand held weight, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Days: Monday and Friday
Cardio Circuit
Combine fun and fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout.
Upper body strength work using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support.
Day: Wednesday
Silver Yoga
Silver Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity
Day: Tuesday and Thursday
Water Walk
This aquatics class in shallow water includes a variety of walking activities for aerobic exercise as well as activities to target range of motion, strength, endurance, and balance.

Arthritis Foundation
Aquatic Program
This low impact class is for individuals with arthritis, limited joint motion, strength, or cardio-respiratory function. YMCA/Arthritis Foundation certified instructors lead this fun-filled class through gentle exercises in a heated pool.

Older Adults
Older Adult Potluck
Meet in the multi-purpose room for good food and fellowship.
Tuesdays, January 19, February 16, March 16, April 20 and May 18 at 12:00 p.m.
Card Party
Bring your friends the second and fourth Thursdays to the YMCA multi-purpose room for an afternoon of cards. Play pitch, canasta, or your favorite.
